Common questions

What people ask before they fence

The questions we hear most, answered straight. Don't see yours? Give us a call — we're happy to talk it through.

What fence materials do you install?

We install vinyl privacy fencing, aluminum and ornamental fencing, chain-link fencing, and wood privacy fencing. We'll walk you through the trade-offs of each so you get the right fit for your yard, your budget, and the look you want.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. We come out, measure, talk through your options, and give you a clear quote at no cost and with no pressure. You decide when you're ready.

How long does a fence installation take?

Most residential fences are installed in one to a few days, depending on the length, the material, and the layout of your property. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.

Do I need a permit, and who handles property lines?

Permit and setback rules vary by location and HOA. We'll let you know what's typically required and point you in the right direction. We always recommend confirming your property lines before we set the first post.

How much maintenance does a fence need?

It depends on the material. Vinyl and aluminum are low-maintenance and basically wash clean. Wood looks best with periodic sealing or staining, and chain-link is about as hands-off as it gets. We'll explain the care for whatever you choose.

Is the work warrantied?

We stand behind our installations, and most quality fence materials carry their own manufacturer warranty. We'll go over the specifics of both with you before the job begins.

Can you match or tie into an existing fence?

Often, yes. Bring us photos or show us the line during the estimate and we'll let you know the best way to extend, repair, or tie into what's already there so it looks intentional.

What about gates?

Every material we install comes with matching gate options — single walk-throughs, wide double gates for equipment, and self-closing, self-latching gates where a pool code calls for them. We hang them so they swing true and latch clean.
