The big iron

The right machine on the right ground.

A logging crew is only as good as its iron — and how it's used. We run a low-impact fleet matched to the job, so the work goes faster, cleaner, and easier on your soil.

The fleet

Built for the North Woods.

Tracked and wide-track machines spread the load and protect the ground. Every piece is owner-operated and maintained in our own shop on the Garfield Road.

Feller-Bunchers

Tracked feller-bunchers shear and stack trees fast while spreading their weight across the ground. They're the muscle of a clean, productive harvest — and far gentler on soil than wheeled machines.

Grapple Skidders

Wide-track grapple skidders move tree-length wood from stump to landing on established trails. Bigger footprints, fewer passes, and less rutting — that's how the lot stays walkable after we're gone.

Cut-to-Length Processors

Processors delimb, measure, and buck logs to exact mill lengths right in the stand, leaving the limbs and tops as a brush mat that cushions the soil. Precise merchandising means more value out of every tree.

Log Loaders & Trucks

Knuckle-boom loaders deck and load wood, and our own tri-axle and log trucks haul it to the mill. Owning the trucks means your wood moves on our schedule — not a broker's.

All maintained in-house, all run by the men who own them. No rented machines, no rotating operators — just a crew that knows every quirk of its own iron.
