A Scarborough crew that takes your backyard personally
Tidewater Pool & Spa Co. started in 2010 when founder Mark Delano got tired of seeing neighbors stuck choosing between a builder who vanished after the pour and a cleaner who couldn't fix anything. He built one company that does both — and stands behind all of it.

Absolutely. Most of the pools on our weekly routes were built by someone else. We'll baseline your chemistry and equipment on the first visit and take it from there.
When should I open and close my pool in Maine?
Most Southern Maine pools open mid-to-late May and close in late September or early October, before the first hard freeze. We schedule openings and closings so you never miss the window.
How long does a new pool build take?
From signed design to first swim, a typical gunite build runs 8–14 weeks depending on permitting, weather, and features. Fiberglass installs are often faster. We give you a real timeline in your quote.
