Who we are

Smaller, on purpose.

Lighthouse Realty Group was founded in 2008 by Sarah Whitman, a fifth-generation Cape Elizabeth native who left a national brokerage to build something smaller and better. She'd watched too many clients treated like transactions and decided a Maine coast brokerage should feel like the place it serves — steady, honest, and personal.

Today Lighthouse is a tight team of twelve agents working from an office on Commercial Street in Portland, each chosen as much for character as for sales record. We've helped families plant roots from the Old Port to Harpswell, and we measure our success the only way that matters here: by the clients who send us their neighbors.
