The taproom

A warm room on a cold river

Reclaimed wood, a wood stove, and a view straight into the fermentation tanks. Come as you are.

The room01
What to expect

Built from an old boat shop

We took over an old boat-repair building on the river and kept what we could — the beams, the wide-plank floors, the river light through the big west windows. Now it's a low-lit room that fills up with regulars, dogs, and whoever's playing on the corner stage.

  • Pours & flightsFull pours, half pours, and four-beer flights so you can taste your way down the board before you commit.
  • To-go beerCrowlers filled fresh to order, four-packs in the cooler, and growler fills of anything currently on tap.
  • Food trucksA rotating Midcoast food truck parked out front Thursday through Sunday. Bring your own food any other day — we don't mind.
  • Dog & kid friendlyLeashed dogs welcome inside, board games on the shelf, and a fridge of Maine root beer for the little ones.
  • Wood stove & river lightA real wood stove going all winter, and the kind of golden window light that makes a Tuesday feel like a holiday.
  • Live music cornerLocal players on the corner stage Saturday evenings — folk, bluegrass, and the occasional surprise.

First come, first served

The taproom is walk-in only — pull up a stool and we'll pour you something fresh.

Got a group of ten or more? Email us and we'll hold a corner. Want the whole place? We host private events on Monday and Tuesday afternoons when the room is otherwise quiet — birthdays, retirements, wrap parties, you name it.

Come as you are

Stay a while

Wood stove going, a fiddle in the corner, the tanks bubbling away behind the bar. Most folks come for one and stay for three.
