Good questions

Before you call, here’s the straight answer.

The questions we hear most — answered plainly. Don’t see yours? Ask us directly and we’ll get back to you.

Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates for planned work are free. For diagnostic calls — chasing down why something isn’t working — there’s a flat service fee that we apply toward the repair if you go ahead.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold a Maine Master Electrician license (#ME-EL-22817) and carry full liability and workers’ comp insurance. We’re happy to send certificates before we start.
Can you handle EV chargers and rebates?
Absolutely. We size and install Level 2 chargers and give you the install documentation you’ll need for Efficiency Maine and utility rebate programs.
Do I need to upgrade my panel?
Not always. If your 100-amp panel is healthy and you’re not adding big loads, it may be fine. We’ll tell you honestly — we’d rather keep you as a customer than sell you a panel you don’t need.
How fast can you come out?
Most non-emergency calls are scheduled within a few business days. For no-power or burning-smell situations, call us — we prioritize true emergencies.
What areas do you serve?
Greater Portland and the Midcoast — Portland, South Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Brunswick, Freeport, and the towns in between.
