Good questions

Before your first visit

Everything new pet parents tend to ask. Don't see yours? Give us a call at (207) 555-0166 — we're happy to help.

How long does grooming take?

Most full grooms run two to four hours depending on size, coat, and how relaxed your pet is. We groom at their pace rather than rushing, and we'll text you the moment they're ready for pickup.

Do you groom cats?

We do — and we genuinely enjoy it. We offer baths, de-shedding, sanitary tidies, nail care, and lion cuts for both short- and long-haired cats, handled by groomers who are patient with feline opinions.

What if my pet is matted?

Matting is common and we never shame you for it. Light matting we'll gently work through; heavy matting is safer and kinder to shave, and we'll always talk it over with you first. There may be a small de-matting add-on for severe cases.

Are vaccinations required?

Yes. For everyone's safety we ask that dogs be current on rabies and cats current on rabies, and we recommend distemper and Bordetella for dogs. Just bring records or have your vet on file for your first visit.

How often should I book?

Most dogs do best every four to eight weeks depending on breed and coat; double-coated and doodle coats lean toward the shorter end. We'll recommend a rhythm at pickup and can pre-book your next spot.

Do you handle anxious or senior pets?

Absolutely — it's kind of our thing. We use low-stress handling, plenty of breaks, and never cage dryers. For seniors or very anxious pets we keep sessions short and comfortable and will pause anytime they need it.
