Do heat pumps really work in Maine winters?

Yes — modern cold-climate heat pumps are rated to heat efficiently down to -15°F and below. We only install systems proven to perform through a Maine February, and we size them so you’re never left chilly.

How fast can you get to a no-heat call?

In winter we run 24/7 emergency service and aim to have a tech to most southern Maine homes within a few hours — often the same hour for urgent calls.

What does a service call cost?

We charge a flat diagnostic fee, and then you see the exact repair price before we proceed. If you move forward with the repair, the diagnostic often rolls into the job.

How long does a heat pump install take?

Most residential ductless installs are done in one day. Larger multi-zone or ducted systems may take two. We schedule it tight and clean up completely.

Do you service systems you didn’t install?

Absolutely. We service all major brands of furnaces, boilers, AC, and heat pumps, no matter who put them in.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

Yes. Our plan includes two seasonal tune-ups, priority booking, and a standing discount on any repairs — it pays for itself on the first save.

Will you help with Efficiency Maine rebates?

Yes. We’re a registered Efficiency Maine partner and we file the rebate paperwork with you, plus give you the documentation your accountant needs for the federal tax credit.

What towns do you serve?

Portland, South Portland, Westbrook, Scarborough, Falmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Gorham, Windham, and the surrounding Greater Portland towns.
